JORDAN – This week, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) visited with members of the Wyoming Army National Guard’s 115th Field Artillery Brigade, including members of the 2-300th, deployed to the Middle East.

Wyoming has more than 100 service members serving with the 115th who are currently stationed in Jordan. They provide long-range precision fire support for conventional and special operations forces in Iraq, Jordan, and Syria.

“Wyoming is proud to have our state’s finest soldiers deployed across the globe with the Wyoming National Guard. This week, I was honored to visit with more than 100 members of the 115th Field Artillery Brigade serving in Jordan and the Middle East,” said Senator Barrasso. “These soldiers, who are a long way from home, are on the front lines fighting terrorists and protecting our freedoms. They truly represent what it means to be from the Cowboy State and live the Cowboy Code each day. It was a privilege to spend time with them and tell them how proud everyone back home is of their service.”
