WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Mike Enzi and John Barrasso , and Representative Barbara Cubin, all R-Wyo., today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded nearly $3.7 million in grants to update and improve Pinedale’s Airport, Ralph Wenz Field.

“Air travel to and from Pinedale provides critical access for the many energy companies operating on the Pinedale Anticline,” the delegation said. “Grants like these enable the airport to extend the runway and improve safety.”

The grant is provided by the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program.
