WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued the following statement after Senate Democrats once again blocked cloture on a coronavirus relief bill.

“Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have made it clear that they will continue to block coronavirus relief. They think it gives them a better chance of winning the election.

“This is a calculated political decision by Democrats in Congress. The American people deserve better from people who claim to represent them.”
