WASHINGTON, DC – Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) disaster designation for counties within Wyoming’s Bighorn Basin:
“The USDA’s disaster designation recognizes that farmers and ranchers in the Bighorn Basin faced tough times in 2009. Severe frosts in early October have taken a significant toll on Wyoming producers. I’m pleased to see that farmers and ranchers in the designated counties will get the help they need,” Barrasso said.
