WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding President Obama’s Fiscal Year 2015 budget:

“This new budget is more proof that President Obama intends to spend his last years in office surrendering to difficult problems instead of solving them. This budget is a giant white flag in the face of debt, deficits, entitlement reform and our military. Instead of tackling these tough issues, he’s doubling down on higher taxes, more spending – and the same old budget gimmicks that make the American people so sick of Washington. Young Americans should be especially concerned about this proposal because they are the ones who will have to work even harder to pay off President Obama’s massive debts.

“The President has once again missed another opportunity to solve some of the real challenges facing America.”
