WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) announced that he will run for Chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee: 

“Today, I will seek the support of our Republican colleagues to serve them as Chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee. 

“Working with my colleagues, we have fought back against the onslaught of Washington’s job-destroying regulations.  We have also been in the trenches to make sure that every American understands how the President’s health care law will impact their care and costs. 

“Our country faces a wide range of challenges that will require aggressive and conservative policy leadership.  As Policy Chairman, I will work with every member of our Conference to support their ideas to create jobs, increase America’s energy supply, strengthen our national security and cut Washington spending.”
