WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding President Obama’s FY 2016 Budget:

“Once again, President Obama refuses to listen to hardworking taxpayers. Americans have made it clear over and over that they don’t want higher taxes and more wasteful Washington spending. His misguided budget is another missed opportunity for the White House to govern responsibly and focus on ways to grow our economy.

“Republicans in Congress understand that governing responsibly begins with budgeting responsibly. Instead of more new spending that we can’t afford, we will balance our budget, cut waste and support programs that deliver real results. Our budget will be focused on jobs, economic growth and opportunity for all Americans.”
