WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso, R-Wyo., issued the following statement regarding the Senate Finance Committee and the House Ways and Means Committee’s release of their tax reform plan.

“Our country needs a simpler, fairer tax code that will keep more money in the pockets of hardworking families. America needs a strong and healthy economy. We are losing the race to keep businesses from leaving the country because our corporate tax rate is the highest in the developed world. We want to keep jobs here at home, and grow our economy. Tax relief and simplifying taxes means more jobs and higher wages for families in Wyoming and across the nation.”
