WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued the following statement on the release of 2020’s third quarter gross domestic product (GDP) numbers. The release showed an increase in GDP at an annual rate of 33.1 percent.

“Men and women in Wyoming and around the country are working hard to rebuild our economy. Republican policies have given us a strong foundation. Together, we’re moving forward.

“Senate Republicans have three priorities: getting people back to work, getting kids back to school safely, and putting the disease behind us. That’s our focus as we fight the virus.”
