WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) issued the following statement regarding the National Park Service’s (NPS) decision to implement a one-year rule for the upcoming 2011-12 winter season in Yellowstone National Park (YNP):

“The National Park Service made the right call today.  People in Wyoming have made it clear how important it is to take the time to make sure Wyoming gets the best winter use plan possible.”
