WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement after U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry signed the Paris climate agreement on behalf of the United States.
“President Obama is trying to buy a legacy and pay for it with American jobs. With the stroke of a pen, his administration will force more job-killing regulations on Americans for negligible gain.
“This international climate deal will hamstring our energy producers and hurt families across the country. Wyoming is already suffering from job losses, and the real legacy of this misguided pact will be more unemployed energy workers.”
